MakeDeathsCount (MDC) is an international health non-profit that partners with NGOs and Ministries of Health to improve mortality surveillance worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve on our Outreach Team. This is an ideal position for anyone with interests in global health, medicine, international affairs, law, business, and consulting. You will develop skills transferable to any career with insights into how international projects are developed.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential governmental and non-governmental agencies in Low & Middle Income Countries to establish possible collaborations.
- Create personalized emails and reach out to targeted individuals (10 emails per week).
- Loop in MDC leadership with positive responses to set up a client meeting.
- Fill out Summary Template before MDC leadership meeting summarizing important information regarding the client.
- Complete any necessary follow ups with the client.
- Be present at all relevant meetings if your schedule permits.
- Serve as a liaison between MDC and the client throughout the duration of their partnership.
Requirements:
- 5 hours/week

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent Zoom etiquette
- Well spoken/written English
- Multilingual (preferred)
- Responsive to communication within 24hrs
