About:
MakeDeathsCount (MDC) is an international health organization that partners with NGOs and Ministries of Health to improve mortality surveillance globally. We utilize a novel methodology involving machine learning algorithms applied to survey data to identify likely causes of death within communities.

We seek a highly motivated individual for a part-time, commission-based contract role as a Global Ambassador (GA). This role is ideal for those interested in global health, medicine, international affairs, law, business, and consulting. You will develop transferable skills and gain valuable insights into international project development.
Description:
MDC seeks a GA passionate about global health and technology who is eager to expand our impact within a designated country. The GA will be instrumental in driving MDC’s strategic expansion, serving as a trusted advisor and representative within the targeted communities.

The GA will be responsible for building relationships with multiple stakeholders, identifying key fundraising opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and managing projects. The role involves creatively leading initiatives to achieve MDC’s objectives, including researching and establishing relationships with local, national, and international organizations as potential project partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop a strategic plan outlining stakeholder identification, fundraising strategies, project development milestones, and measurable outcomes.

Conduct country-specific needs assessments to understand current mortality surveillance efforts.

Initiate and manage communications with funders, NGOs, local nonprofits, and other relevant stakeholders.

Cultivate relationships within targeted communities, including public health organizations, charities, philanthropists, and community leaders.

Organize and host events (virtual or physical) to increase awareness of MDC’s mission and generate community support.

Provide creative strategic advice for advancing MDC’s project goals and initiatives.
Position Details:

Part-time commitment averaging 10 hours per week.

Contract position compensated through performance-based commission.

Primarily remote work, with occasional in-person events as needed.

Requirements:

Prior experience in sales, outreach, or relationship-building.

Strong professionalism, particularly in virtual communication (Zoom etiquette).
